More Iron Chef

So it's Round 2 and all items are due in about 40 mins from now. I got my layout completed this afternoon but had to wait for it to dry before taking some pictures. I've posted some to share. I also added a bit more color to my previous card, (just some pink around the edges of the white piece), and I think that maybe it looks a tad bit better. I'm still not entirely pleased, but it'll do. Fingers crossed that I'll make it on to the next round, but I'm up against some REALLY tough competition!

My Layout is of my niece Amelia. Such a cutie! My little flower :) Remember, my main ingredients to use were stickers, paint and stitching. TFL~

Iron Chef Round 2 - Card

Ok, so it's not the greatest but I was going for a painting type background. I'm really not sure I succeeded, therefore, if I have time before I run out of time to enter my projects, I just may have to redo this one! LOL Maybe it would look better if I inked the edges of the white strip or something....

Our ingredient items are paint, stickers and faux stitching.

Iron Chef IV - Altered Item

Round 2 Menu Ingredients - stickers, paint and faux stitching. Here's what I came up with. I altered a notebook so that I can put in my online scrappy friends addresses and birthdays so that I can send RAK's and cards. I think it turned out pretty good :)

It's here!

My order from ScrappersHaven came today and it included the awesome new papers by Core'dinations!!! I got the black Spell Caster ones and the Vintage set called Reminisce. I LOVE them! I'm happy that they all have a bar at the top so you can tell what the core color is going to be because I'd be tearing them all just to see what's inside! LOL Can't wait to create!

OMG! ANOTHER RAK!!

I think I must be the luckiest girl around this past month or so!!! I had to tell a pay it forward story on a blog of Prima Instructor Trisha Ladouceur and I ended up winning a RAK because of it! I'm so excited to see what comes in the mail!! Prima has some great products!!
Although I may have posted it before, this is the clear acrylic frame I made with Prima paintables paper at her class when I was at Scraptacular at the end of February!
If you're in the Edmonton area, I believe she does different classes at Scrapbook Memories & More in Sherwood Park. It's a great store too! I got to go there for goodies when my sister and I attended their National Scrapbook Day crop last year. It was a lot of fun, in fact, I think the registration for this year's may still be open. I'm not able to attend, but would have loved to!
